Irrigation

Sprinkler systems, repairs and blowouts

New underground systems, drip lines for planters, system diagnosis, repairs and the fall blowout. We install the best and service the rest.

Chapter 01

System Diagnosis before anything gets dug up

A zone that stays dry has a short list of causes: a valve that will not open, a wiring fault between the controller and the valve, a broken head, or a line that is leaking. We work down that list, starting at the valve box, instead of digging up the yard on a guess.

The fix is explained as it goes. You hear what was wrong, what was repaired, and what to watch for next time the zone acts up.

A new system, with drip lines for the planters

We install underground irrigation systems, planters and a dripping system for the beds that do not need a spray. Tired of moving the hoses again and again? Once the system is in, you set the watering time on each zone and worry less about watering the yard.

On a new lawn the sprinklers go in before the sod does. The ground is graded, the lines and heads are placed, and only then does the sod get rolled out over them.

Chapter 03

System Blowouts, repairs and maintenance

System Blowouts happen before the first hard freeze: the compressor trailer is hitched at the curb and air pushes the water out of every line, so nothing is left to freeze and split a pipe over winter.

Heads that sit in the wrong place get moved, and heads that are broken get replaced. We install the best and service the rest, so a system we did not put in still gets looked after.
